Swap out this for that:
- grocery plastic bag FOR a mesh bag (or no bag)
Can your fruits and veggies not play nice with each other? Is that why they’re segregated? Why do they need a bag at all? You’re going to wash them before you eat them at home. Instead don’t use a bag at all or if you really want to contain them, use a reusable mesh one. Solution found.
- paper napkin FOR a cloth napkin
Cut up an old t-shirt or an old towel that’s falling apart, stick it in your lunch box and viola. Super easy! I found out that I really don’t make a giant mess at each meal, so why do I need a new paper napkin at each meal? I ended up using one cloth one for an entire week of lunches. Refolded and used new fresh corners when necessary and washed it with my clothes at the end of the week. Boom. Done.
- dryer sheets FOR static ball
We stick a dryer sheet in each load, everything is soft and magical. Okay, sure but then you throw away that dryer sheet every time. Then I went with no dryer sheets and air drying my laundry, now they’re a little crunchy. Next up, static ball (that’s super cute) and brings some air and fluff back into your clothing. Hurray!
